COVID-19 Policy

Visit England – ‘We’re Good to Go’

We meet the Visit England COVID-19 industry standard for self-contained accommodation.

General Hygiene

We always do our own thorough housekeeping with antibacterial products, which will obviously continue, including the communal areas, i.e. stair rails. As ever this will include all surfaces, doors, handles, kitchen equipment and utensils, TV remote controls etc. We also do our own laundry ensuring that everything is washed on the maximum temperature with bedding pressed and as new for each guest.

Please make use of the hand sanitizer provided at the entrance to the apartments each time you enter or leave the apartments. We also provide antibacterial hand wash products in the kitchen and bathroom for your use.

We usually ensure there is a plentiful supply of toilet rolls and kitchen rolls in our apartments for our guests, however to reduce the number of items guests might come in to contact with, we will only be providing a single roll of each..


Whilst we cannot guarantee 100% that all germs will be killed, you can be assured that we have done everything possible to minimise the risk of spreading COVID-19 and make your stay a happy and healthy one.


Check-in / Check-out

We always pride ourselves on providing a warm face to face welcome for our guests and to assist with luggage into the apartment and accompany to the nearby parking.


We are still happy to greet face to face to hand over keys and assist with directions etc., however to meet social distancing guidelines we are unable to accompany into the apartment or help with luggage.


If preferred we offer contactless check-in and check-out by way of a key safe at the entrance to the apartments.


Unexpected Illness

Should you or any of your party show symptoms of Coronavirus during your stay we ask that you advise us immediately and make arrangements to return home without delay. Furthermore please keep us updated on the health of any of the party that falls unwell over the ensuing 21 days following departure in order that we may comply with Government NHS Track & Trace guidelines.


Bedding & Bed Linen

We usually supply all bedding as well as bed linen for our guests, and are happy to continue to provide this service. However should you prefer to bring you own bedding and/or bed linen then please advise and we will leave the beds unmade with just mattress protectors in place (these are washed and fresh for each guest).


If you do intend to bring your own bedding or bed linen, please note the beds are standard doubles. The bed in bedroom 2 of apartment 7 may be configured as either a single or a king size. The sofa beds in each flat pull out to form a king size bed.



We believe guests would be more comfortable using their own towels, we will therefore not be providing our usual supply of bath sheets and towels.


Welcome Pack

Another of our unique offerings is to provide a welcome pack on arrival consisting of locally produced milk, bread and butter plus wine. Much as we would like to continue, it is impractical to adequately disinfect these items and for the time being we will not be able to offer our welcome pack. We are actively seeking an alternative unique welcome offering.


Soft Furnishings etc.

The apartments are usually furnished with a number of soft furnishings and knickknacks to provide our special home from home feeling. Many of these have been removed to minimise the items that guests come into contact with.


Food & Drink / Refuse

On a purely selfish note, we ask that you take all unused food and drink away with you and also dispose of any rubbish and recycling in the bins provided at the entrance to the apartments. This reduces our own contact and therefore similarly minimises the risk of spreading COVID-19.


Pet Friendly

You will be aware we are pet friendly accommodation. We usually provide a number of blankets for the use of you and your pets, however again to minimise the risk of spreading COVID-19, we have had to remove these blankets. Therefore if you are bringing your pet we ask that you also bring your own blankets or rugs to cover the furniture.


Eating Out

All pubs and restaurants have now reopened July albeit with reduced capacity. If you like to eat out we strongly recommend you book as early as possible ahead of your visit as we know many of our favourites are already becoming fully booked.
